Lions Midget Gems are as retro a sweet as it gets - been around for many a year and still a classic little dome shaped assorted random mix of colours which may include black,green,orange,red,white colours and assosted fruit flavours which may include orange, strawberry, lime, pear, lemon and not frgetting every licorice lovers favourite midget gem the Harf liqorice one! Lions Midget Gems which are well known for their hard gummy textured sweets with that true unique retro fruity and licorice taste that takes you right back to your childhood school days when these were sold in almost every school local tuck shop/corder sweet shop.

From old favourites such as fruit pastilles, fruit salads, and midget gems, to classic liquorice gums, you’ll find Lion leagues ahead of the competition in quality, flavour and texture. No wonder the good people at Lion insist on the same methods and recipes they used a century ago.

Ingredients in Lions Midget Gems (correct at time of listing July 2011)

ingredients: Glucose syrup, sugar, water, beef gelatine, potato starch, citric acid, liquorice powder, natural flavourings, vegetable oil, acetic acid, natural colours: vegetable carbon, chloropylls, lutein, paprika extract, anthcyanins. Glazing agent: carnauba wax. Mat contain traces of nuts.
Lions Midget Gems are Halal Approved.
